Get to know the Dancing Grandmas!
Debora
Debora is the baby of our group at 63 years old. She began with us just before the pandemic and had to wait almost two years before performing! Debora lives in Trenton and has four children and six grandchildren. Debora is also our Booking Coordinator - give her a call!
Shelley
At age 65, Shelley lives in North Avondale and has been dancing with us since moving to Cincinnati in 2009. She has four children and two grandsons. Shelley has been our director since 2017.
Cornelia (Nicky)
Nicky joined us in February 2018 and has quickly learned how to tap dance! She is 64 years old, has two children, ten grandchildren, and "several" greats. Nicky lives in Silverton.
Cindy
Cindy is one of our newest members. Formerly from Finneytown, she now lives in West Chester to be closer to her 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Cindy is 70.
Troi
Troi is a two-timer with us! She danced for many years in the group, took 11 years off and returned in 2011. She is 73 and lives in Mason. She and her husband have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
Maria
Maria is 75 years old and lives in New Richmond. She learned to tap after retiring! Maria has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
Marti
Marti is 77 and lives in Colerain Township. She has 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, with another on the way. Marti has been with the group since 2008.
Debbie
Debbie lives in White Oak and is 78 years old. She began dancing with us in 2009. Debbie has one daughter. She has hung up her dancing shoes, but continues with as our sound engineer.
Karen
Karen lives in Anderson Township and is 78 years young. She has a blended family of 7 children, 18 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Karen joined us in 2003.
Jane
Living in Peach Grove, Colerain Township, Jane is 79 years old. She has been dancing with us since 2003. Jane has 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Jan
Jan joined us in mid-2018. She has four children, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. She lives in Edgewood, KY and is 79 years young.
Ann
Ann has been with the group since March 2013. She is 79 years old and has 3 children and 3 granddaughters. Ann is a resident of Covington.
